Event Background

This prestigious summit hosted global leaders from the world’s top museums and cultural institutions across the West Kowloon Cultural District. The event was held simultaneously across three iconic venues: the Hong Kong Palace Museum (HKPM), M+, and the Xiqu Centre. The event required simultaneous interpretation support and live streaming to international.

The summit demanded a high-level “Zero Failure” production across three geographically separate locations at once. The technical challenge was twofold: first, managing multiple on-site Simultaneous Interpretation (SI) feeds for an international delegation; and second, distributing these synchronized multi-language feeds to a diverse array of digital platforms including YouTube, WeChat, and Zai Art, each requiring specific stream configurations and dedicated online players.

LiveMakerPro implemented a distributed master-control workflow. We deployed LiveU encoders at all three venues to embed the various SI language tracks into stable LRT™ streams. These feeds were transmitted back to our central office hub, where we:

Demuxed the audio tracks to create dedicated streams for each language.

Simulcast to multiple platforms, ensuring the WeChat and Zai Art feeds met specific mainland China delivery requirements while maintaining high-quality YouTube output for the global audience.

Integrated dedicated web players on the official website, allowing users to switch between venues and languages seamlessly.

Summary

By successfully linking HKPM, M+, and the Xiqu Centre into a unified broadcast architecture, LiveMakerPro provided a secure, multi-language streaming solution that met the rigorous standards of an international summit. Our hybrid office-distribution model ensured that every keynote and panel discussion reached its global audience with perfect clarity and linguistic accessibility.
